Description
This is an original copy of The Beatles "From then to you" LP, sent free to Beatles Fan Club members at Xmas in 1970. As I'm sure you know, Fan Club members were sent a flexi disc each from 1963 to 1969 containing a special seasonal recording by The Beatles. By Xmas 1970 of course, The Beatles, sadly, were no more and the fan club offering that year was this LP pressed on the Apple label which compiled the seven previous recordings. Rather than using the master tapes, copies of the discs themselves were instead used for some reason so inevitably carry a little background noise from the discs with them. The Side 1 matrix for this LP is LYN 2154 and Side 2 LYN 2153. The dark green Apple labels are clean and very fresh looking with just a mild hint of spindle wear, though there is what looks like a manufacturing flaw to side 1 where a small part of the label looks to be of a slightly less glossy texture though the design is entirely intact as can see from the picture. The vinyl itself is lovely and shiny, it clearly has only been played a few times. Under bright light, there are just a few hailines and some mild bag rash on Side 2. Playback is fine too though obviously with some light very light background noise owing to this being dubbed straight from copies of the flexi discs rather than the master tapes as mentioned earlier, graded Mint Minus. The sleeve is in Excellent condition, just as usual some mild creasing to the corners as all of these copies were originally sent out in flimsy envelopes. The laminate front is clean, white and fresh looking, the rear cover is also clean with just a small stain towards the left hand edge and a blank white sticker placed on the top right edge, preumably to attempt to cover some writing or sleeve damage, I have not attempted to remove this. A very nice copy of this very collectable LP.

I use strict RC gradings, with plusses and minuses to indicate slight variations from this. All records listed are cleaned first on my Clearaudio Smart Matrix and carefully played for the purpose of accurate grading on Rega Planer 3 deck with Goldring cartridge.
