Original 1970 UK Fan Club Only Apple LP pressed by Lytone Records (UK)   LYN 2153 / 2154

The Beatles Fan Club  sent out 7" Flexi Discs containing messages from The Beatles each Xmas from 1963 to 1969 as a special Thank You to their fans :-

At the end of 1970 , after the Beatles  had parted company , the Beatles UK Fan Club had this album specially pressed and mailed out  as a final 'Thank You' to the remaining club members ..... a hard to find Beatles collectable - I buy many vinyl collections and people who have this LP rarely want to part with it , as it is so special to them - I  can understand why .......

Interestingly , the LP contains the actual flexi  disc recordings that had belonged to Freda Kelly (the fan club secretary)  as the actual recording masters could not be found - hence there is some  very light record surface presence

The actual  stamped in pressing matrix is LYN 2154 / LYN 2153 , the labels state LYN 2153 / LYN 2154 - The messages run in sequence from 1963 to 1969

The Disc has barely been played  .... lovely surface gloss , no marks or wear .... crisp labels , no spindle use  ....... Plays through  well , with light surface presence as previously mentioned  :  Graded at  EXCELLENT+ / MINT minus   condition.

The Sleeve has light use only ....  bright , crisp and clean .... very nice laminate ....  very  nice  edges and spine .... the rear panel has light signs of ageing , but still very nice  :  Graded at  EXCELLENT condition.

The LP comes with an original black die cut Apple liner sleeve , which has mild use - a few creases , but no splits

All items are graded Audio / Visually , and played on a high grade system

Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I understand the requirements in the gradings of discs and sleeves , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised

I grade items ( using the UK Record Collector Grading System) beneath a light , to be sure of condition

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as STUNNING !! RARE !! AWESOME !! , padded out with grossly long winded 'descriptions' ..... Many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and does not correspond with the actual facts , and would be laughable but for the fact it is totally misleading. Where do they get that 'played once' nonsense from ? Do they think people are idiots ? I take time and care to graded items correctly , and only list quality records , with concise , accurate grading descriptions

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest !) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists 'live' ( I saw The Beatles twice and Segovia !)

I began selling professionally in 1976 , and have a wide knowledge of the items I sell (and always learning !) having bought copies of my own at time of issue , always being interested in the sleeve , label and disc variations. If you have any queries , I will do my best to answer correctly

All items carefully packaged using proper cardboard packaging (I do not use low quality preformed mailers)

The discs are placed seperately from the sleeves within the package to avoid splitting or damage . Items are sent promptly - usually within one working day of payment .
