Hello.....I have an old record collection to clear and this auction is for the above mentioned LP.
Please note that I am not a collector or dealer myself so I'm not too sure what people need to know when buying records. If there is anything else that anyone would like to know before bidding then please feel free to message me :)
Firstly, I have no way of test playing this item so my description is based on what i can see with the naked eye. If however the item turns out to be unplayable then i will gladly offer a refund for the cost of the record, providing it is returned to me in the same condition as it was sold in. Sorry but no refunds of postage costs.
Ok....This is a collection of xmas records from 1963-1969. I think that it was only available to members of the fan club.
The vinyl itself is in very good condition. There are a few minor surface marks to both sides but nothing that i would really call a scratch. There may be some interference in the sound with these marks (you may hear a crackle or blip in the music) but it shouldn't stop the record playing through.
The cover is still glossy on the front but does have some scuffing around where the record sits .(the shape of the record is visible). There is a broken black mark that runs parallel with the spine to about half way down and the corners do have some minor creases (particularly the bottom right).
The back of the cover again shows some scuffing and the disc mark is visible. The "particular creasing" of the bottom right corner on the front of the cover also shows through on the back. I think this is because the bottom seam has come apart here to about halfway along. (this could be easily re-glued though). Also has a couple of small splash marks on it and the usual yellowing of age.
All in all this is a really nice copy considering it's age and i have probably made it sound worse than it actually is!
