Both sides have some light, non-feelable, hairlines and surface marks, but nothing serious at all, just the usual signs of average use that should reasonably be expected after 62 years unless you're completely hatstand.
The labels have spindle wear - see photos.
Overall, still a decent copy.
I grade it as VG+ at least.
It'll cost £150 in your nearest multinational charity shop. I've seen worse.
Sleeve
Fully laminated front and back (but not inside).
Beatles For Sale text is clearly visible/legible on the spine.
Very light feathering of the edges.
The gatefold sleeve has small (~1cm) splits at top and bottom of the fold (see photos), so graded as VG. Otherwise, it's as in the photos. Depends on what you can live with, I suppose...or hoy it away and put the disc and inner with a better sleeve.
Poly-lined Use 'EMITEX' paper inner is in excellent condition - nice and clean, and no splits. It's worth over a quid on its own...
Packaging
Record will be inside a poly-lined paper sleeve and outside the outer sleeve to prevent slicing of seams etc.
Sleeve and disc will also be inside a protective plastic sleeve.
All packaged strongly and properly, with corrugated reinforcers for extra strength, and enough tape to circumnavigate my gut. Twice.
Postage
UK postage is via eBay's Simple Delivery and RM's Tracked 48 service.price rating
