STUNNING EXAMPLE, FIRST ISSUE WITHOUT STEREO ON RECORD LABELS
SCARCE, ORIGINAL 1967 UK FIRST ISSUE STEREO Vinyl LP for THE BEATLES FIRST LP. On the Custom Orange POLYDOR Label, and ‘Made in Great Britain’ label text.
Both record labels are in FINE near mint condition with just a few light centre spider trails.
Both sides of the Vinyl disc are in STUNNING near mint condition, nothing more than just a couple of light surface hairlines.
Side 1 has the scratched out matrix number of 236201A and side 2 236201B.
Additionally, both sides of the trail out groove have a scratched out machine stamped matrix number.
The audio quality is SUPERB through ALL the tracks, with no unwanted distortion, skips or clicks.
The album comes in its Original white inner sleeve which is in excellent condition, NO seam splits, just some light inevitable creasing.
And is housed in ORIGINAL ERNEST J DAY Patents Pending Front laminated, brightly coloured POP-ART sleeve designed by Barry Zaid, which features the track listing and info, together with the Polydor Special logo on the reverse of the sleeve.
The picture sleeve is in VERY NICE excellent condition. STRONG, FIRM sleeve, NO seam splits, or handwriting, just some manufacturers laminate pinching to the front of the sleeve and some mild age discoloration to the reverse of the sleeve.
Not to be underestimated, and missed by many serious collectors at the time, this Original UK 1st Presing album was only BRIEFLY issued way back in 1967 – not to be missed!
