Description
THE BEATLES CHRISTMAS FAN CLUB RECORD 1963This is the first Beatles Fan Club flexidisc issued by The Beatles Fan Club to Fan Club Members only in December 1963. The disc contains a spoken Christmas message from the Beatles.
Gatefold folder, pictures on front and back, Inside there is the Newsletter. Original staples in very good condition. The cover itself, made from a thick yellow coloured paper is complete and in very good condition for the age, shows some age discolouration and slight creasing at corners, small spot stain on bottom outside corner. Inside clean, no stains. Not mint condition as was played and loved by me.
The label is complete - Lyntone Recordings LYN 492
The flexidisc is in very good condition.
This is my own disc, owned by me since I was 14 in 1963, I did play it, probably quite a few times at the time, and in the following year until the next fan club disc came out. Not played since 1964. The disc has a few of my 14 year old fingerprints on it as I have not cleaned it, but it has always been kept in the folder, and in the years since in a cupboard or drawer, despite moving house several times it has always stayed with me.
I have not owned a record player for many years so I can't say how it plays but I would hope it is OK, its not had anything spilt on it nor been left out of its cover. The quality of these flexidiscs may not be as good as a proper LP or single
Very rare only a limited number of these discs were issued to Fan Club Members only.
