Description
Complete 3 volume set of Mexican Beatle EPs, pressed in Mexico in 1972, and compiled into boxes and released in Germany in the early 1980s. Each 4-song EP has a full color cover within a plastic sleeve.
Each volume contains 12 EPs 12 EPs each in a cardboard box. Volumes 1 and 2 are still in the original shrink wrap - though on both volumes the shrink wrapping is torn so it is missing pieces. But the volumes have clearly never been opened. Volume 3 is not in shrink wrap - but appears never to have been handled or played. Rather than typical singles or EP covers, the covers for this Mexican release are printed on thin paper encased in plastic sleeves. They are all in excellent condition. Records in volumes 1 & 2 are on the EMI label, Volume 3 records are on Apple Records. All records are dated 1972.
Volumes 1 and 2 are complete (12 EPs each) and match the descriptions on the back of the box. Volume 3 is missing the number 7 EP as described on the back of the box and it has been replaced with a copy of the Help! EP (which is #12 from Volume 1 - see photo). This replacement was done at the time of the release NOT by me. From what I've learned many of the sets have #5 and #7 EPs in Volume 3 replaced in this way. This set has the correct #5 EP for Volume 3 and is only "missing" the #7 EP.
A beautiful and hard to find set of Beatle EPs with new artwork for many of the EP covers. In near mint condition throughout - with two of the sets unopened.
