THE BEATLES - 25 x 7" Vinyl Singles BOX SET. Plus 4 Inserts. 2 Beatles inserts + a 'World Records' insert and envelope

GOOD Condition.

**PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BELOW CAREFULLY**

BOX:

The box has some minor scuffs and corner wear, but the main damage is to the lid which is very loose and worn.

RECORDS:

I have only test played about 4 singles, they played well. I would grade them as VG. Generally they look excellent, with virtually no spindle marks. They are a little dusty which causes a few crackles. Sleeves are all VG+ with slight top edge creasing only, otherwise excellent.

The problem with the set is that 8 of the singles have a crack / broken edge (like the Sgt Pepper single I have photographed). Therefore these 8 are unplayable. The 8 records are: SGT PEPPER / BALLAD OF JOHN & YOKO / HEY JUDE / LET IT BE / LADY MADONNA / HELLO GOODBYE / ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE and GET BACK

Overall the set has some very good playing records and sleeves that are visually excellent or near EX. It is complete, and the INSERTS ARE VG. However due to the damaged records I can only give an overall grading of GOOD

GRADINGS

When grading records and CD’s I follow the standard UK grading system as defined by Record Collector Magazine. This is the most widely used guide and respected by Collectors Worldwide.

MINT (M) – Record is in brand new condition. The cover and all extra items are present and in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX) – The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) – The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items (without any major defects) is acceptable.

I always grade honestly and accurately and unless a record is extremely rare I never sell anything with a grading below VG-
