The Beatles Collection is a box set of all of the Beatles Stereo vinyl LPs.
This is the first released version of the BC13 box which was released in December 1978 in the United Kingdom.
The box has been owned by me from new and none of the LPs have ever been played and all the records, sleeves and inserts are mint.
All of the photos are of the actual box and the all the LP covers of the records in the box.
The box has a few marks on the box as shown in the photo which seems to be a common problem with these sets.
All of the inner sleeves carry the 1978, or earlier, print reference which confirms absolutely that this is the first edition of the UK release of the box.
The box did not come from a retailer but came direct to me from the EMI factory at the time of release.
I have been the only owner from new and it has always been kept on a custom made record storage rack.
It contains the official catalogue of all The Beatles LPs plus and the Compilation LP called Rarities.
The audio and vinyl quality of the first edition is considered to be better then the later subseqent releases of this set.
The collection includes all the original inserts as contained in the individual albums, such as the cardboard cutout sheet in Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and all the photos and poster in The Beatles White Album.
