The BEATLES. Boot LP. 10 Songs + 2 other. Studio tracks from the filming in January 1969, during the filming of the Get Back/ Let it be sessions that started as the Get Back LP (cancelled) then a year later became the Let it be LP and Movie. And, more recently the Let It Be Naked LP. They were trying to do a Back to Basics LP. Raw single take songs that showcased their talent as writers and singers and performers, and meanwhile they rehashed their oldies repertoire, constantly running through songs they used to perform in their early days. Some of their better recorded attempts made the final album. The movie presented the process! As well as the bickering that was invading their process, due to lack of cohesive management! Highlights are: LET IT BE, DON’T LET ME DOWN, and of course GET BACK (twice on this record). This Boot LP is essentially the early version of the Get Back LP that was shelved! A great Bootleg LP with rawer takes not enhanced by Phil Spector. Added to this boot is the Christmas 1967 club giveaway track. Probably the best one with “Christmas Time is here again” as the theme song throughout the long track. This LP is nearly the same boot as KUM BACK except Long and Winding Road is missing and Christmas 1967 is added. Condition is Goldmine EX vinyl, with VG+ labels and sleeve The Sleeve and labels have corrections written in ink to show the correct song info. The cover was originally a slick with a cardboard sleeve. I typically glued and taped the slick to the sleeve. Then I corrected info I thought was incorrect (boots were frequently wrong). It looks okay by my standard, but you decide!! By now we all realize the value of any Beatles Recording. Preserve everything, don’t destroy anything, clean them up, sort them, compile them, release them in any semi-organized way anyone can think of and, presto, another great album or CD, legit or boot! Then mix them up and do it again!! Anyways, like true art, they’re great no matter which way you see/hear them! Especially the full size covers!!
