THE BEATLES BOX - EMI/Odeon, Japanese pressing. Great 8-LP set containing 126 classic Beatles recordings, several of them in rare alternate mixes such as the version of "All My Loving" with the hi-hat intro, "And I Love Her" with the extra repeats of the closing guitar theme, and "I'm Only Sleeping" with differently placed backwards guitar. Each LP is housed in a colorful picture sleeve. Includes two black and white illustrated booklets, one with a Beatles chronology (in Japanese) and one with lyrics to the songs in both Japanese and English. The discs are all in immaculate Near Mint condition. One side of the box is faded from exposure to light; otherwise all of the packaging is likewise Near Mint.
