Description
On offer here is a RARE UK original 1969 1st pressing of Abbey Road by THE BEATLES on the dark green Apple label. This copy comes in the correct original laminated sleeve which is in lovely shape. The catalogue number is PCS 7088. Matrix numbers are Side 1 – YEX 749-2, Side 2 – YEX 750-1. Mothers & stampers are: Side 1 – OPP 9 12 & Side 2 – MDD 9.
The record is very strictly graded in VG condition, there are quite a few light marks visible under strong light but both sides play through really well without jumps or sticks, and as usual with these thick vinyl 1st pressings it still sounds really good!! The original 1st press laminated cover is also very strictly graded in EX condition with some creasing but overall it is in BEAUTIFUL shape with no major damage. This copy comes with the original black die cut inner sleeve which is a bit worn with a small split at the bottom. The labels are in great condition with no tears, writing etc and virtually no spindle wear. The label for Side 2 has the credit THE END HER MAJESTY. A really good copy!!! Bid with confidence – check my feedback!!!!
UK Registered Postage is £4.00. Airmail postage (not registered) to USA is £9, insurance is extra. Records will be packed in very secure brand new professional record mailers with cardboard stiffeners and with the LP in a PVC sleeve and with the inner sleeve and record separate from the cover to avoid splits etc - I do not make a profit on postage at all and delivery quickly and pack very securely for maximum safety.
IMPORTANT - Please note that if you are bidding from anywhere outside the UK, I will ONLY accept PAYPAL as the method of payment. I always grade my records fairly and prefer to under-grade to avoid disappointment, check my feedback. Full refund if not satisfied. Winning buyer must make payment within 7 days of the end of the auction or the item will be relisted & reported to ebay as unpaid. Another great rarity from my personal collection - HAPPY BIDDING !!!!!!!!!!!
