Up for auction is one of the most sought after and hardest to find collections there is of The Beatles BBC recordings, this is an original first pressing of the European release of “The Beatles at the Beeb”. Issued in the mid 1980s this is the COMPLETE 13 volume vinyl LP collection issued by “Beeb Transcription Records” PLUS a rarely mentioned 14th BONUS LP that was only issued ONCE titled “Meet The Beeb”.
Back in the 1980s I had a friend who owned a local record store that had a standing order with me…any new Beatles LP issue that he got he was to put one aside for me. This is how I acquired these…each time a new volume came out I picked up the album, took it home, and played it ONCE! I gave it one full play in order to make sure it wasn’t defective…plus I made a tape to use from there on. Therefore I can guarantee you that all 14 albums in this collection were not played any more than 2 or 3 times each….they are in absolutely perfect mint condition…as if you were to step back into the 1980s and get them yourself. They have been carefully stored in a upright position in a bookshelf with many other albums for all of those years and have only been taken down now to list them in this aution.

All records have the original Beeb Transcription Records label with the exception of “Meet The Beeb”…my understanding is that the bonus LP was pressed in a different location and thus got a generic white label. Even though the album cover artwork is just as good as the other 13. All sleeves are in perfect condition and the colors are still as vibrantas as the day they were printed.
As I said earlier ALL albums are in brand new mint condition played no more than 2 or 3 time each.
I really don’t want to break up this perfectly matched collection so I’m going to offer them here as one lot with no reserve price!
