THE BEATLES – AND NOW: – S*R - RARE SWITZERLAND PRESSING - EX strong !!!

Very scarce and a mutant – Swiss – Austrian – or German?

Matrix numbers: 12PAL 3000-SM-1 and 12PAL 3000-SM-1F (The „F“ is handwritten, the rest is machine stamped)


Condition:




Cover: EX+ – the cover looks almost new, very shiny and clean, sharp corners; there is only a very very small irritation on the right side (beneath the S*R International and Odeon labels) - see picture. It is minimal, but therefore i cannot grade it as mint.




Vinyl: looks VG+ and plays that way or even better, on side 1 there is a faint scratch which is not hearable. The record also shows some faint hairlines under strong light, but it plays really fine throughout on both sides !!! Please note that my grading is defensive! It is in fact a very nice and shiny copy and acoustically absolutely enjoyable!!!




Label: Side 1: sadly there is a name written on the perfect label. See the fotos please. Side B: is perfect.




This is the German compilation album from 1967 but the much scarcer Austrian pressing. It has the German „GEMA“ on the labels but there is „Made in Austria machine stamped into each run-out.




Apparantely this album exists as Austrian and Swiss pressing. The latter has "Made in Switzerland" stamped in the matrix in each run-out (see the fotos, but it has the Austro Mechana label instead of „GEMA“. So it is a strange copy, because on the label you can also read that it was made in Germany.
