Offered for auction is an export edition of Abbey Road, which was produced in tiny numbers for sale in countries outside of the U.K. where the 'Apple' trademark had not yet been registered. The export edition bore Parlophone labels in place of the Apple labels which adorned this album in the UK. Of all the 'export' titles, Abbey Road is considered one of the most uncommon - perhaps even more so than 'the white' album'.

THE VINYL LP
- VISUAL - graded at VG-, the vinyl exhibits an abundance of surface scoring on both sides. Although VPI-cleaned, there is no getting away from the reality that this LP is far from being a perfect-looking record.
- PLAYBACK - Despite the visual appearance of the vinyl, the record plays without fault save for one notable exception. Track 1/1 (Come Together) has numerous jumps; yet all other tracks playback without fault other than an occasional pop and low-level crackle. There is no visible artefact which sets the area of vinyl which 1/1 occupies apart from the remainder of Side 1, yet the jumps are there and restricted to track 1.
