THE BEATLES ABBEY ROAD LP VINYL 1969 UK 1ST PRESS PCS7088 MISALIGNED APPLE EX/EX.
Original 1st UK pressing of the classic “Abbey Road” LP by the Beatles
Matrix numbers / Mothers / Stampers are:
Side 1 - YEX 749-2 9 12 OMD
Side 2 - YEX 750-1 3 MGP
The vinyl has some very fine sleeve removal marks when viewed under strong light and a couple of very light surface scratches. None of these are feelable.
It is fully play tested and plays very well indeed with only a very very small amount of light crackle evident on the run ins and spaces between tracks only. There are no other issues at all and the music plays loud and clear throughout and without any pops, clicks, jumps, sticks. Very nice condition! grades as EXCELLENT
Labels are clean and free from any spindle marks. No “Her Majesty” on labels. (Or sleeve)
The sleeve is also EXCELLENT. It features the mid-aligned Apple logo on the rear. A few very minor laminate crinkles only (see photos)
The inner is EX without any issues, tears, etc. It has the “patent No 1,125,555” plain white inner. I will include a brand new poly lined inner to help keep the LP free from any further removal scuffs.
Overall this is a very decent sounding and looking original 1st UK press.
