THE BEATLES ‘ABBEY ROAD’ GREEN VINYL LP
Sleeve Condition: Ex to Ex+, a little ringwear and crinkle at the edges but overall a very nice, unwritten sleeve with no tears or damage.
Record Condition: One very vagues, minor scuff which has not caused any groove damage and in no way affects play. The record plays fine. However, there is a strange pressing fault. I half wondered whether it was a deliberate one, a sort of, ‘bite’ out of the apple. There is a tiny edge of the very outside of the run-in groove missing for about a quarter of the circumference of the LP. It’s obviously been there from manufacture and is not broken as it hasn’t shattered or cracked the remainder of the record. I think it really is just a pressing aberration. It still plays fine and there’s enough of a run-in groove for silence before the music starts and the stylus tracks it fine. It’s just an odd, mould release fault I guess.
I’ve started this at a silly price with no reserve and it goes for whatever it sells for.
