THE BEATLES A Hard Days Night 1964 First Pressing MONO LP very good condition-VG/VG.
THIS LP IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, THE SLEEVE IS ACTUALLY SOLID SO COULD BE GRADED EXCELLENT + FOR ITS AGE. THE RECORD MAY HAVE A FEW HAIRLINE MARKS AS TO BE EXPECTED. QUITE DIFFERENT THIS LP AS THE TAX CODE IS UPSIDE DOWN. I HAVE SEEN THEM DIAGONAL AND ALL SORTS BUT NEVER SEEN ONE UPSIDE DOWN. MAY BE A BIT OF A MIS PRESS. ANYWAY MAKES NO DIFFERENCE AS THIS LP CAN COME WITH OR WITHOUT THE TK.
UPDATE- I HAVE JUST PLAYED THIS LP ALL THE WAY THROUGH AND TRACK 3 SIDE 1 HAS A TINY SKIP, BUT ONLY WHEN IT WANTS TO. I PLAYED 5 TIMES OVER SKIPED TWICE ON SAME BIT. I HAVE A VERY LIGHT DIAMOND NEEDLE CARTRIDGE SO MIGHT BE ABLE TO SORT THIS EASILY. OR IT MIGHT NOT DO IT ON YOURS? HOWEVER I NEED TO MENTION THIS. IT PLAYS THROUGH OK THEN THE NEXT MINUTE DOESNT HAS A SMALL MARK ON IT, I DO NOT WANT TO MESS WITH IT. MAY BE FINE ON YOUR RECORD PLAYER. I MEAN ITS NOT A BIG DEAL. AS I HAVE GRADED THIS LP VERY GOOD. IF I HADN'T HAD FOUND THIS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GRADED EXCELLENT PLUS! AS ALL THE REST IS IN TOP FORM AND HARDLY ANY CRACKLES AT ALL, SOUNDS SUPERB. I DON'T MIND KEEPING THIS IF DOESN'T SELL. AS IT'S NOT A BAD COPY AND IM SURE THIS CAN BE FIXED EASY! HOWEVER I WILL LEAVE IT ON FOR NOW, AND IF I HAVE TIME I WILL GET MY MATE TO TAKE THAT SKIP OUT. CERTAINLY NOT A PERMANENT THING OR WOULDN'T WORKED AT ALL AND MAY JUST NEED A CLEAN. I WILL KNOCK A COUPLE OF QUID OF NOW. IT WAS £39.50, SO £35.00.
I AM AN HONEST SELLER, AND I WANT TO LIST MY THINGS AS ACCURATE AS POSSIBLE. ANYWAY APART FROM THIS, THIS LP IS A BEUATY FOR ITS AGE! I HAVE SEEN SOME THAT ARE MANY TIMES WORSE. HOPE THIS HELPS.
It is about almost impossible to find any non-sealed vinyl records without any hairline marks. Many of them had them from new, especially if sold with cardboard inner sleeves. They are a result of storage and use and have little impact on sound quality.

First pressing. July 10, 1964. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Parlophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print. “Recording first published 1964? and “Sold in U.K. subject…” text. Label have thin print. With or without KT tax code on the label.The title “Songs from the film A Hard Day’s Night” doesn’t take up as much width across the label as before or as it does in future. This variation is placed here as this smaller text may have been an experiment after the chubby text style was changed. This version has a few variants.

COVER - VERY GOOD
MINT- The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised, as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT- The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD- The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR-The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR- The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD--The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
