Offered for auction in this listing is a copy of a hard-to-find "8-Star PARLOPHONE" labelled STEREO pressing of A Hard Day's Night from H.M.V. (New Zealand).
CONDITION - VINYL
Vinyl play-grades at VG+. Record plays all the way through without sticks or jumps (both sides). A few instances of crackle heard across the entire record (with track 6 of side 2 bearing the brunt). Visually, the surface has some marks and scuffs which may disappear with cleaning. The platter is as flat as a newly-minted banknote sandwiched between two thick sheets of toughened security glass.
CONDITION - LABELS
labels grade at VG+ with some minor wear around the spindle on both labels. Thin surface scratches can also be seen.
CONDITION - SLEEVE
The sleeve is in generally exceptional condition. No splits to spine or seams. Laminate cracking is present on the spine but the spine text reads perfectly. A retail sticker is attached to the back of the sleeve. The original foil 'STEREO' stickers are fully intact. Flapbacks are tight and sharp.
