Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - A Hard Day's Night 12" 1964 MEGA RARE chubby stereo Parlophone LP vinyl' in overall EXCELLENT+/NEAR MINT- condition!
This particular record comes with a RARE EMI/PARLOPHONE advertising insert!
VINYL:-
Visual:
- Side 1 - mainly hairlines and light scratches but nothing deep or feelable! Rated as VERY GOOD+. Label is VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT-.
- Side 2 - more light marks than Side 1 but still not deep! Rated as VERY GOOD. Label is VERY GOOD+.
**I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW MUCH BETTER THIS RECORD SOUNDS THAN LOOKS!!!**
Audio:
- The audio is currently rated as EXCELLENT+/NEAR MINT-!! I have play tested it all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS on my system! Tiny tiny amount of crackle present is the quieter passages and in between tracks but is barely audible!! SO MUCH CLARITY! An excellent-sounding example with original tonality and fantastic punchy audio! Lies extremely flat and plays extremely well with no problems! Cannot fault this at all! One of the best I have personally ever heard!
Original EMITEX inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition with NO SPLITS!! Lovely crisp and clean inner sleeve with minor discolouration and very light creases.
The original Parlophone/EMI insert is in VERY GOOD condition with no graffiti or writing, just a small 2cm tear to one of the sides (PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES!!).
The original 1964 STEREO flipback sleeve is in EXCELLENT-/EXCELLENT condition! The front is nice and clean with light laminate creasing and slight edgewear. The rear of the sleeve is also nice and clean with no graffiti, writing, rips or tears! Flipbacks have slightly discoloured but it's one of the best original stereo sleeves I have ever owned! Sad to see it go! Spine is 100% readable and VERY square! Slightly discoloured but nothing major!
Overall, an excellent rare pressing that will be difficult to better for such a great price!
