Description

Beatles ’65 original mono Scranton Press Mono Pressing

Offered here is an original 1965 Pressing of the US mono version of Beatles ‘65 by The Beatles.

Condition:

The condition of the vinyl is a very strong VG++. There’s some light flaws visible, but you wouldn’t know it from the way it plays from beginning to end without a skip and with minimal surface noise. The label is clean with no marks.

The jacket is in VG condition, looking mostly good on the front, but with some staining towards the spine as can be seen in the photos. There is a split on the spine about 4 and a half inches long. The back cover is in similar shape, and someone has written notations saying either “slow” or “fast” next to each song title, in blue ballpoint. This comes with the original inner sleeve, which is in excellent condition.

Here are the notes and matrix runouts for you detail oriented collectors out there:

Glossy, rainbow-rim capitol labels without "subsidiary" print.
The number "3" at bottom right near RIAA logo, indicating Modern Album Finishing Co. printing.

T 1-2228-H5 1 IAM(in triangle)
T 2-2228-H3 IAM(in triangle)

The IAM in triangle stamp indicates that this was pressed at Capitol’s Scranton pressing plant.
