Description
Original Capitol Records US 1965 T2228 MONO PROMO LP in shrink.
“PROM” punched cover is amazingly still in the shrink and in stunning NM condition. I seriously doubt you’ll find a nicer one. The rear has “Compliments, Capitol Records written (ON THE SHRINK, NOT THE COVER) in red marker. This can easily be removed, if you so desire, but I think it’s kinda cool so I left it on. The original CAPITOL RECORDS inner sleeve is also punched “PROM” and has very light discolouration and NO splits!
The original US MONO 1st press LP plays very nicely with only a few marks and is graded VG+. Clean labels.
I believe these LPs came from a Cleveland area DJ who lived in Fairview Park (my friend now lives in his house where the Beatles ate dinner!), who would give records to neighbourhood kids. These came from a house right down the street.
