Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Rubber Soul' 1965 first press STEREO vinyl LP!
This particular pressing is the a STEREO pressing of Rubber Soul, released in 1965, with the larger Times New Roman font. Stereo copies are a lot rarer than mono pressings as the demand for stereo records in 1965 was very low. Most people didn't have equipment that could play stereo records and those that did had to specially order stereo copies through their local record dealer! This was more than likely a second pressing due to the -3 -3 matrices - perhaps around 1966/67. Also features 1G 2M mother stampers! VERY RARE, DO NOT MISS OUT!!!

EARLY MOTHER STAMPER ON SIDE 2!
Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - there are some light marks, hairlines and sleeve removal trails but nothing that I can feel however. It retains a wonderful gloss and shine. Easily grades VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT. The label is VERY GOOD+. Side 2 - same as Side 1! A few more light hairline scratches but nothing serious - should play great!
Audio: I can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS AND NO STICKS on my system! The stereo audio is fantastically crisp and punchy! These mid sixties stereo presses are always LOUD and this particular example has a great amount of clarity. There is the usual crackle on the run-in and in between songs and in some of the quieter places but nothing intrusive during the actual music. There's some repetitive pops towards the end of Side 2 but I can only hear it inbetween songs and it never gets in the way of the music. Graded as EXCELLENT!
Sleeve: The original 1965 STEREO sleeve is currently rated as a strong VERY GOOD! The front of the sleeve has a lovely gloss and shine but it does have some light ringwear and light laminate creasing. The rear of the sleeve has a small bit of staining in places. There is expected discolouration but overall very clean and free from writing! The flipbacks have creasing in places - particularly towards the top left edge (please see pictures!). The spine is 100% readable and strong with some slight creasing and pinching towards the edges.
