Description

A 1981/1982 UK limited edition The Beatles Collection box set, on Parlophone Records (BC-13), with all discs appearing to be unplayed (commonly known as the Blue Box.)

This set includes UK pressings, each housed in the original album cover, of the UK Beatles catalog, plus the Rarities album, compiled exclusively for this set.  Each disc appear unplayed, with the albums housed in a gold stamped, thick cardboard hinged-top box.  Apparently the pressings of this era have label text that begins with “ALL RIGHTS…” but without the word “RENTING” in the text.

The box is in VG+ condition, with some small scuffs and scrapes to the textured covering.  The beautiful UK pressings all look to be unplayed, and the covers are mostly Mint and in a few cases Near Mint.  A very clean instant Beatles collection!

We grade all records visually, cover first, then disc; using the abbreviations M / NM / EX / VG with + and -. We try to describe everything as accurately as possible, and spot check any vinyl flaw that looks like it might make a sound. We regularly receive praise for our grading, but as all grading is subjective, we are happy to give a full refund for anything you aren't happy with no questions asked.

Unlike some eBay sellers, we don't feel the need to hype records by including long reviews or albums, quoting lyrics, making up arcane variations. We just grade accurately, describe any flaw, and sell only high quality rare records in fine condition.
