The Beatles - ‘Day Tripper / We Can Work It Out'. R 5389

The Beatles 1969 2nd UK pressing of the 'Day Tripper / We Can Work It Out' 7" single. Originally released on the 3rd December 1965, this 1969 issue is a rare label variation which failed to chart on it’s re-release. It is offered here in WONDERFUL EXCELLENT+/MINT- condition. Take a look at the close up images of the centre hole, UNMARKED! Could well be UNPLAYED!

This 2nd pressing OMITS the 'Sold In The UK....' text and has the 'Gramophone Co Ltd' rim print. It did not even make the UK top 40 on it's re-release in 1969. As such it sold in very, very small amounts.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. 7XCE 18342-1: 12 AMG KT

Side 2. 7XCE 18341-4 12 ARH KT

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+ condition on the a-side and MINT- condition on the b-side.

Both labels are in MINT- condition.

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT+ condition. White sleeve.
