Description

The Beatles - 'The Beatles (The White Album)'. PMC 7067 / PMC 7068

The Beatles 1968 UK 1st MONO FACTORY SAMPLE pressing of the 'White Album' LP. These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant. It is offered here FULLY COMPLETE with two mono vinyls, two black die cut inners, numbered mono sleeve, four glossy prints, poster and rare spacer.

Released on the dark UK Apple label, all four sides of the vinyl feature the 'Sold in UK ....' statement. All four sides also feature the very earliest matrix numbers all ending in 1 - 1/1/1/1. The side four label features an embossed ‘KT’ tax code. All items are housed within the top opening mono numbered sleeve No. 0291052. The sleeve has NO mention of stereo on the rear. A very rare opportunity to obtain a fully complete MONO factory sample issue of The Beatles White Album.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. XEX 709-1 1 GP

Side 2. XEX 710-1 7 RT

Side 3. XEX 711-1 1 GGL

Side 4. XEX 712-1 2 GGL

The vinyl is in VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition.

All labels are in EXCELLENT condition.

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition.

The inner sleeves are in VERY GOOD+. I shall include additional new inner sleeves for protection.

The pictures are in EXCELLENT+ condition. Includes the rare spacer. This was used to separate the pictures and poster while in transit. They are almost always thrown away.

The poster is in GOOD condition. The original but split along some seams.

This LP will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK recorded postage is: £5.50. EU recorded postage is: £13.95. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £19.95. Combined, reduced postage is available.
