Description
A UK first pressing mono "The Beatles" double LP, aka The White Album.
This mono pressing is on the dark green Apple label PMC 7067/7068
Matrix: XEX 709/10/11/12
All labels carry the "Sold in UK" text.
The 2 discs are housed in thick card stock, fully laminated, TOP OPENING Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve printed cover numbered: 0277852
The outer sleeve is clean, glossy and WHITE with no yellowing or tears.
The inner gatefold is clean, glossy and white.
There are no seam splits.
There is no ring wear.
The gatefold sleeve is in very good condition bar 1 corner bump.
The 2 inner black sleeves are clean, flat and in very good condition.
The 2 discs are in very good to excellent condition.
The poster is in excellent condition.
The 4 glossy portraits are in excellent to mint condition.
The labels are in very good to excellent condition.
The spindle holes are in excellent condition.
I would grade the discs as very good to excellent condition. There are no scratches, just some light "hairline"marks here and there.
All in all, this is magnificent example of an original 1968 mono White Album: both discs and sleeves.
