I have been collecting Beatles vinyl and memorabilia for 30+ years. I have now decided to sell my vast collection which includes many rarities. Please follow my auctions for a huge amount of original Beatles vinyl and memorabilia to be listed every week when possible.
The Beatles 'Hey Jude / Revolution'. R 5722.
The Beatles 1968 UK 1st pressing of the 'Hey Jude / Revolution' 7" single. This is a rare Decca Records contract pressing. It is identified by the wide space four prong center with additional center ridge.
These contact pressings exist due to the fact that there was huge demand for this release. EMI could not cope with production so to maintain it's chart position and sales they contracted out production to rival companies who had spare production capacity. In this case Decca Records produced this vinyl.

Side two: 7XCE 21186-1 KT 13 >
Vinyl condition: VERY GOOD++
Sleeve condition: EXCELLENT+ (new).
Carefully visually graded with UK Record Collector system.
