I have been collecting Beatles vinyl and memorabilia for many, many years. I have now decided to downsize and sell much of my collection so keep a regular lookout for lots of Beatles items to be listed soon.
The Beatles 'Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band'. PMC 7027
The Beatles 1967 UK 1st MONO pressing of the 'Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band' vinyl LP. FULLY COMPLETE with MONO vinyl, original insert sheet, psychedelic inner sleeve and INCREDIBLY RARE FOURTH PROOF PROTOTYPE sleeve.
This is THE very first pressing, June 01, 1967.
The “Fourth Proof” sleeve represents the earliest possible pressing of the Sgt Pepper cover. The Fourth Proof was the final version of the various “prototypes” that were explored by the Beatles when the cover was being designed. The cover (and text) was approved by the Beatles and an initial very small test run was undertaken to make sure everything looked OK. This small test run is characterised by the inverted “Fourth Proof“ text in the top right hand corner of the inner gatefold just above George Harrison’s head. This is therefore the earliest possible “prototype” (test pressing) cover. Same fold-back have can printed text “AR D 1321″ which was probably the reference number for the prototype text that was used.
I will also include a new inner sleeve to protect the original and an outer poly sleeve.

Side one: XEX 637-1 4 ADR
Side two: XEX 638-1 8 RTR
Vinyl condition: Side one VERY GOOD Side two VERY GOOD- (two feelable marks).
Sleeve condition: VERY GOOD
Inner sleeve condition: GOOD
Carefully visually graded with UK Record Collector system. I will combine postage to save you some money.
