The Beatles - 'Revolver'. PCS 7009
The Beatles 1966 UK 1st FACTORY SAMPLE STEREO pressing of the 'Revolver' album. Released on the 5th August 1966, it is offered here in VERY GOOD+ condition.
These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.
Released on the yellow and black Parlophone label both sides feature the 'Sold in the UK....' text and have 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd' rim print. The 'KT' tax code is embossed on the side two label. The side one label also has the error of having an extra dot within the ‘SOLD IN.U.K.’ text. The vinyl is housed within the correct and original 'Made in Great Britain’ inner sleeve. A simply must have vinyl for collectors of The Beatles.
The Matrix numbers are:
Side 1. YEX 605-1 2 GL
Side 2. YEX 606-1 2 L
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+ condition.
Both labels are in VERY GOOD+ condition.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition.
The inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition. I will include an additional inner sleeve to protect the original.
