This is a First pressing UK 2LP album, April 20, 1973. For the first pressing was used matte Apple labels on a dark red background. Apple labels have “Mfd. in U.K.”, “An Apple Record”, “An EMI Recording” and “The Gramophone Company Limited” credits. “The Beatles 1962-66” include colored inner sleeves with lyrics. First edition of The Beatles 1962-1966 has red die-cut inner sleeves with two corners cut. (thebeatles-colection.com).

AUDIO: Very good to very good+ condition (VG+). Let's keep in mind that this is a preserved used vinyl record, stored more than 50 years. The album sits flat well on the turntable. I have test played both sides of this album and apart from a few pops, mainly between tracks the sound quality is superb. No skips, No jumps, No feelable deep scratches, plays all the way through very well. VISUAL: Very good (VG) conditions: Visually the vinyl had retained its original glossy finish, with a couple of number of very light minor hairlines/odd ticks, some surface marks, but these are barely noticeable or feelable even under a light and in no way affects the sound or quality of play.
LP2: AUDIO: Very good + to Excellent condition (VG+). Let's keep in mind that this is a preserved used vinyl record, stored more than 50 years. The album sits flat well on the turntable. LABELS: Near excellent condition (EX-). Green apple labels with an image on side 1 and sliced ​​apple on side 2. There are also a lot of light spindle marks around the center holes which lead me to believe, that this album has been well played. I have listened to both sides of this album and there are no jumps, skips, sticking or warps. The labels are also in very good condition with no writing, marks or tears).
GATEFOLD SLEEVE: Excellent condition. The album has a front and back laminated gatefold sleeve manufactured by "Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd." The first edition had producer George Martin's credit on the right bottom inside "All titles produced by George Martin". Spine intact fully readable.
INNER SLEEVES: Near excellent condition (EX-). Original red full-length inner sleeves with lyrics. First Edition of The Beatles 1962-1966 has red die-cut inner sleeves with two corners cut. The only remark is a trace of folding on the upper right corner one of the sleeve. (see pics.)
