Description

TITLE/ARTIST: Hello and please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale - records from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" and all in nicecondition! Here is an original 1966 LP - in mono - by the "boys of summer" themselves, The Beach Boys - still in it's original shrink wrap, price tag and all. It is yet another album in outstanding overall condition - especially the jacket - and even comes with the original Capitol Record's inner sleeve, which advertises other album releases of that time. This album is on the original, rainbow bordered Capitol Label and is entitled "Pet Sounds", considered by many to be the group's best ever album release. It includes their huge hit singles, "Wouldn't It Be Nice", "Sloop John B.", and "Caroline No" amongst other great tunes from the group - all in MONO (see the pictures above for the song titles). LABEL INFO: This original, Capitol Label (T-2458) is nearly perfect with no issues at all - I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little play time - if any at all. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also primarily very shiny, clean, and nice, but when viewed in the sunlight, does show numerous super light surface/paper lines - which have absolutely no effect on the album's play. JACKET INFO: Finally, this jacket - still in it's original shrink wrap - is nearly perfect and has no flaws or other issues to list here at all. In all honesty, this entire package looks awfully good, but especially this "like new" jacket - every part of which looks so clean, neat and close to perfect!! INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion, this LP is in very good overall shape, so please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $5.00 (Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation) for the first LP purchased, and then just $1.00 per LP after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$23.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that. PLEASE NOTE: I take a great deal of pride in packaging all my mailings both safely and securely. However, I cannot be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. But, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come! browser does not support JavaScript.
