Incredibly rare still factory sealed 100% guaranteed authentic 1st Mono West Coast Los Angeles, Hollywood pressing of The Beach Boys Pet Sounds. Never opened, never played in 54 years. This is a true heavyweight 1st press copy, I weighted it and it’s approximately 280g. It's extremely hard to find this copy in such a superb Mint condition. The shrink wrap is fully intact and doesn’t have any tears, missing pieces or splits, except for one tiny insignificant half an inch seam split at the top left corner. The shrink wrap contains two original factory breathe holes at the top of the front cover. Original Capitol Records T-2458 (Mono) catalog number black label with a multicolored spectrum ("Rainbow") band along the label's edge. Very rare original 1st Mono pressing, many times rarer than the fake (“Electronically Rechannelled”) Stereo. The back cover contains the "6" number printed next to the RIAA logo at the bottom right, which identifies the issue as the Capitol Records, Los Angeles, Hollywood plant pressing. Therefore, the vinyl inside should contain the "?" (Asterisk) symbol stamped in the trail-off area. Most likely, the issue contains an original Capitol Records printed PE 12-3BL (Los Angeles) gold 'CAPITOL 66 SOUND GREAT!' paper inner sleeve with adverts for other Capitol Records releases. Fantastic incredibly rare factory sealed copy of the 11th Beach Boys studio album.
