Description
This is a copy of a rare single by The Beach Boys: "Caroline, No" b/w "Wouldn't It Be Nice" (RPS 1336). This is a lovely reissue of two songs from the "Pet Sounds" LP, although the single was issued in 1972 and was meant to promote the greatest hits LP, "Good Vibrations - The Best of the Beach Boys" (Reprise MS 2223). Technically, one could argue that this is an original Beach Boys issue, not a reissue, since "Caroline, No" was issued as a Brian Wilson solo single, not as a Beach Boys single.
This is the rarer "Steamboat" label, issued on the East Coast. The more common issues were printed on the West Coast and have the light tan Brother logo (these are known as "Brother/Reprise" issues). But even those stock copies are hard to find. The more common ones are promo copies, with "Wouldn't It Be Nice" on both sides (and even those aren't so easy to come by).
Some minor label wear, but no writing, stickers, or tears. Vinyl is gorgeous. Overall, EX condition. Comes in original factory sleeve.
