On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Band called 'Music From Big Pink' and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Capitol 'Rainbow' label!!!!  Please also note that this is NOT the same copy as I just sold last week!!!!  For although I hadnt found one of these in over 2 years - I was so VERY lucky to find another one only 1 day later after the last auction ended (though the chances of finding another one any time soon are simply IMPOSSIBLE!)!!!!  And if you compare the two descriptions - you will see that this one is VERY different indeed!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS WAS THE BAND'S FIRST & RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1968 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED, IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS (VIRTUALLY NOTHING!) AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  PLEASE ALSO NOTE - THAT THIS IS A 100% GENIUNE UK 1ST PRESSING - ON THE 1ST PRESS ONLY 'RAINBOW' CAPITOL LABEL WITH 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT!!!!  OFTEN LATER 'BLACK' CAPITOL LABELS ARE WRONGLY QUOTED AS '1ST PRESSINGS' WHEN CLEARLY ARENT - AND WERE PRESSED OVER 6 MONTHS AFTER RELEASE!!!!  BUT THIS ONE IS A 100% GENIUNE UK 1ST PRESSING - WITH 1ST PRESS ONLY 'RAINBOW' CAPITOL LABELS, AND IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!! 

BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS 1ST PRESSED IN MEGA RARE STEREO!!!!  AND THIS IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED BACK IN 1968, NEARLY EVERY 1ST PRESSING WAS MADE IN COMMON MONO - WITH VIRTUALLY NONE IN MEGA RARE STEREO AT ALL!!!!  DEMAND FOR STEREOs WAS SO TINY - THAT EVEN BY 1968 IN THE UK, MOST SHOPS DIDNT EVEN STOCK STEREOs - AND IN MANY CASES STEREO 1ST PRESSINGS WERE ONLY AVAILABLE BY 'SPECIAL ORDER' ONLY!!!!  AS A RESULT, FINDING A 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP IN MEGA RARE STEREO IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK A THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1968 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS CAPITOL 'RAINBOW' LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'PATENTS PENDING' COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY MPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Capitol UK 1st Pressing from 1968 and is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is ST 2955 on the 1st Press Capitol 'Rainbow' label (see picture) and is a much MUCH rarer UK STEREO 1st Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in SUPERB condition!!!!  It has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  SUPERB RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback Laminated 'Patents Pending' Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The cover has NO edgewear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated back if the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO rubbing, NO ringwear, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
