Description

Up for auction is a nice original copy of The Band album "Music From Big Pink" originally released in the U.S. on Capitol Records (SAKO 2955) in 1968.

-Guaranteed original pressing
-Original black & rainbow Capitol labels
-"Mastered By Capitol" stamped in run-out matrix
-Original paste-down gatefold cover
-Vintage '60s Capitol inner sleeve

Condition:
Cover is very nice, only small signs of wear.  No ring wear on front or back.  Very colorful and clean.  Seams are nice, no splits or cracking.  Interior is clean.  Spine is tight--I doubt this gatefold cover has ever been opened all the way flat.  Corners are nice.  Grade: Excellent (EX).

Vinyl is also very nice, still has its original glossy shine.  No significant scratches, just a couple tiny, faint and superficial marks here and there, nothing serious, nothing that affects the playback quality.  Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes, indicating little previous play.  Looks like it's been played maybe once or twice, but handled very carefully.  Looks very clean.  Grade: Excellent (EX).
