THE APRYL FOOL - "SAME"  japanese super rare psych LP HAPPY END FOOD BRAIN HIRO YANAGIDA HARUOMI HOSONO

 

A psychedelic rock group, with swelling organ and great gnarly lead guitar.
They recorded this one album, 'Apryl Fool"[1969].
Some of it's pretty trippy, with one track sounding alittle like C.A.Quintet at their weirdest, but arguably better!
Keyboardist Hiro Yanagida later went on to Foodbrain and solo career.
Drummer Takashi Matsumoto and bassist Harumi Hosono went on to the band Happy End.
later Harumi Hosono went to Yellow Magic Orchestra.
