PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.


INSANELY RARE original MGM yellow label PROMOTIONAL first pressing of the Animals' third album from September of 1965 in glorious mono with custom We Gotta Get Out Of This Place hype sticker in the top right hand corner on the front cover (stock copies had them affixed to the shrink wrap), SPECIAL DISC JOCKEY RECORD-NOT FOR SALE text at the top of the labels and original MGM inner sleeve!!!  LP is a beautiful VG++/NM- with a few light paper scuffs on side one.  Cover is VG+/VG++ with a hint of age discoloration on the rear only, four sharp corners and barely a hint of ring. Incredibly hard to find and near impossible to find in this condition.  Only one of these mono yellow label promos has come up for auction since February of 2023 according to Popsike and it went for $169.00 after the bidding had ended in December of that year but not one has surfaced since so don't sleep British invasion collectors.  There isn't a single copy for sale in Discogs either and the last one to sell there was in November of 2022.  Good luck finding one in this condition for this price.

GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
