Description

Ongoing sale of selected items from my personal collection of vinyl and CDs, the vast majority of which have been owned by me from new and have been safely stored in a smoke-free home. I try to describe each item as accurately as possible (vinyl will normally be play tested) and therefore I don't routinely accept returns - but I'm happy to offer a no quibble refund in the unlikely event that significant defects are found which were not called out in the listing.
Any questions please ask. Thanks for looking!
This item....

  • Rare 1981 UK reissue of The Adverts iconic 1978 debut
  • Unlike the original issue this release includes the classic 'Gary Gilmore's Eyes' as a bonus track
  • Does not include the associated hype sticker but still has the generic Butt label inner
  • Label / catalogue number - BUTT/BRIGHT ALSO 002 (BRL 201)
  • Vinyl matrices - TOWNHOUSE LYN-10036-ITH ALSO-002-A / TOWNHOUSE LYN-10036-ITH ALSO-002-B
  • Second album 'Cast Of Thousands' also listed
Condition notes....
  • The vinyl has a couple of small light marks but sounds excellent throughout with just a couple of very light pops/clicks - a great sounding pressing which is lovely and quiet between tracks and during in run-ins
  • Both labels are nice and clean with no writing or other marks
  • The outer cover is also in great condition - there's just a tiny bit of wear and fading on the spine, and minor sticker damage on the top right corner (only really noticeable when angled to the light)
  • The generic inner shows minor signs of handling but there are no splits, tears, writing or other marks
Postage notes....
  • I always use high quality custom mailers for vinyl, and jiffy bags for CDs
  • Unless the item is new and still sealed I remove vinyl from both the outer sleeve and any printed inner in order to prevent seam splits in transit
  • UK - I'll combine postage if buying more than one item - please wait for invoice
  • Rest of the world - Please note that I only sell overseas via ebay's Global Shipping Programme, which sets postages rates and does not appear to include the facility to combine p&p costs for multiple purchases. Please don't bid if you're not prepared to accept  GSP costs or process - thanks
  • And I'm not currently shipping to Belarus, Ukraine or the Russian Federation
Thanks for looking!
