On offer today is a Very Rare Original 1965 UK Parlophone issue of The Action's debut disc 'Land of One Thousand Dances' c/w 'In My Lonely Room'
All of The Action's original records are very rare these days and very hard to find, (They were even hard to find back in the 60s!) This was their debut release for PARLOPHONE back in May 1965 amd features two staple floor-fillers 'Land of One Thousand Dances' and the B side 'In My Lonely Room' And an excellent example of British Blue-eyed Soul!
This is the original 1965 UK 1st pressing (R 5354) on the Black/Silver Parlophone label. Complete with original company sleeve!
Record Condition : Fair / VG- (Unfortunately the A side 'Land of one thousand dances' does have a quite a large scuff on the surface and has been play tested and but it does play much better than it looks! Even though there is a constant click through the track it DOES NOT skip, repeat or jump which is a relief! Also a good thing is that the click does get hidden on the louder parts of the song but then comes back in the quieter parts. The B side 'In my Lonely Room on the other hand plays brilliant with only minor background crackle! So altogether not a bad copy at all. Look at the photos!
Label condition : VG (Labels show moderate wear but only general signs of use! All print is still clear and legible)

Grading system.

• MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
• EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
• VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
• GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
• FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
• POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
• BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
