THAD JONES "Mad Thad" LP IS AN ORIGINAL 1956 U.S. PRESSING ON THE PERIOD LABEL (MONO 1208).
THE HEAVY & GLOSSY VINYL, WITH THE RED & BLACK DEEP GROOVE LABEL, IS IN EXC++ TO NEAR MINT CONDITION WITH CLEAN LABELS. GREAT SOUND WITH NO BACKGROUND NOISE.
THE LAMINATED COVER IS IN VG+ CONDITION WITH NO WRITING; THE SEAMS AND THE SPINE HAVE SOME WEAR AND THERE IS VERY LITTLE TAPE RESIDUE.
Taken from two sessions, personnel includes: Thad Jones; Frank Foster; Jimmy Jones; Jo Jones; Doug Watkins and, on the other session: Thad Jones; Frank Wess; Henry Coker; Tommy Flanagan; Elvin Jones and Eddie Jones.
In all, a very rare jazz classic in an excellent condition.
