ITEM DESCRIPTION: Rare Original Jazz, Mono Pressing, has 47 West 63rd NYC address on both Deep Groove labels, has 47 West 63rd St. New York 23 on cover, has RVG and "ear" in trailoff wax, has No trademark R, Personnel: Benny Powell, Gigi Gryce, Tommy Flanagan, George Duvivier, Elvin Jones, 4 Selections: Side 1- Slipped Again, Ill Wind, Side 2- Let's, -I've Got A Crush On You (Thad with Barry Harris, Percy Heath, & Max Roach), no reserve.
VINYL CONDITION: VG/VG+ has some dust, has some light scuffs and some small scratches, has some static and light ticking during play, no skips, strong sound, still sounds great for right ears, (please listen to these two long samples of Slipped Again and Let's to give you a better understanding of the sound from the actual record being sold)
LABEL CONDITION: VG+ clean deep grove labels have a few spindle traces and light soiling.
COVER CONDITION: VG+ cover has light to moderate wear on corners, surface and edges, has the more moderate wear on the corners and edges, back cover has some light soiling, a few small stains, and a big scuff from center to top, has No Seam Splits.
Please be aware that this record has not been cleaned with a VPI machine and the condition would most likely improve with a professional cleaning.
