Description
This is an auction for a rare LP by Ten Years After- Undead.
This was released on Deram Records in 1968 and has catalogue number DML1023. This is the 1st pressing and is the rarer mono pressing.
Matrix Numbers- ARL 8390 1B ARL 8391 1B
Condition: The sleeve has some very light discolouring marks on the rear. There are a few small lamination creases along the spine edge and lastly light buffing to the very corners. Spine and edges ex, no tears, bends or creases, lamination at mouth ex. Please check the pictures a very nice sleeve and graded at a strict VG+.
This comes with its original patent inner sleeve that has some yelowing.
Labels: Both labels are clean and look new, under closer examination some spider spindle trails can be seen on each side, the centre hole shows little to no signs of wear.
Vinyl- both sides retain there new shine, one visble scratch can be seen side 2 and a few feather scracthes when tilted to the light. There are also some faint dirt marks that will probably clean. I have play tested this record through both sides.
Side 1 has a tiny scratch at the very beginning of track two, this is audible for three or four rotations and gives a tick, otherwise this side plays fine with the odd very quiet crackle.
Side 2 has the long visible scratch that thankfully only becomes audible near the very end of this side, it is actually when he is speaking, some ticking can be heard and it may possibly jump at this point, missing a word or two, once the music restarts it disapears. Other than that the odd quirt crackle aside this plays fine. The music itself plays with no major deterioation in sound quality and can be heard clearly at all times. There is no distortion, fading or dragging caused through wear.
The vinyl for this is graded at VG, and is a worthwhile addition to any collection.
