'Positive Vibrations'

FINAL ALBUM from the original line up before super guitarist Alvin Lee split the band to go solo. As a last hurah it's a welcome return to form with Alvin contributing nine of the ten tracks and cranking his guitar in fine form.

The usual bluster is audible but there are signs of a more thoughtful Lee in action - a style that he would pursue on his solo albums that followed this release. Natch, his guitar playing is beyond reproach - a full throttle raw when necessary and subtle, softer jazzy flurishes when the mood dictates.  

Incredible condition - looks like you've just stepped into a record store in 1974 to buy a copy!

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Pressing: Chrysalis, UK, 1974 - Original Green label

Vinyl: Nice clean and shiny condition. No spindle marks on labels and no other signs of use - I would say unplayed! Impossible to find like this. Grades as shop fresh MINT!

Cover: Again, no signs of use. Sharp corners, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is perfectly straight and stiff with original pinches top and bottom. Beautiful and impossible to find like this 42 years after release. Grades as shop fresh MINT!
