Description
Original Jobete Acetate in VG maybe VG+ condition. Good gloss and just a couple of light scuffs and a little sleeve pressure mark. This one sounds good, maybe not quite as good as a clean 45 but still actually plays well. Has a little occasional light hiss but not bad for a 49 year old one of a kind acetate. An 100% original authentic item and an amazing item for deep Motown collectors. Not sure if it's the same mix as the 45 but you can HEAR IT....
The sound file posted is missing some content. This is to protect the rights of the auction winner and to still give bidders as much information as possible. Any removed content plays fine.
Acetates are plastic coated metal discs that sound just like conventional 45s. They are custom cut, one at a time, using a special cutting machine. This could have been a reference copy for the producer or an audition/demo or maybe just part of the publishing reference files for the company.
