TED LUCAS The Om Album Best private folk psych LP ever
This is the earlier yellow label 1974 version of the album, with a muddier mix than the on the pink label 1976 mix. I prefer this version, but both have their merits and it's not unreasonable to want to own both. I am not going to make a big speech about it but just flatly declare this the best male private folk record ever, better than Dave Bixby, better than Perry Leopold, or whoever you want to name. It's that simple. Cover art by Stanley Mouse was originally designed for the album Jimi Hendrix was working on when he passed. Listen for one of these tracks in the upcoming third film by Andrew Bujalski, "Beeswax." VG+/VG+ copy with a 2" spine center split and 3" split top center seam. Disk with very light marks. Comes with a xeroxed insert. A good copy of a monumental record.
