British jazzman Ted Heath – according to the liner notes- was engaged for a 1955 tour of Australia and commissioned Kenny Grahame to write a ‘suite’ for his band- I guess in the manner that Duke Ellington used to compose similar “tone poems’ and this is the result. There’s a sample sticker on the label. There are small (1/4 to ½ inch) seam splits at the lip. A small stain on the cover (see scan) and a few lines of print underlined on the back
CONDITION WISE:
Record: M- Label: EX+ Cover: EX-
MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: Slight signs of having been played, no lessening of sound quality. Cover, label, extras are good.
VERY GOOD: played quite a few times, no real deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras slight amount of wear and tear.
GOOD: showing some wear and tear. Reasonable, playable sound. No major defects in record, cover, label, extras.
FAIR: Sound quality deteriorated. Cover, label, extras display folding, scuffing, marks. .
