Top double-sider by the legendary old school UK arranger. Features a killer swinging London take on the Lee Morgan Blue Note standard. Ted's mod jazz version has a title shortened to just "Sidewinder" but has been updated to capture the street savvy soul beat of Soho '65. Thunderous rhythms that have been comped. Jazz Goes Mod indeed ;) The bside is another swinging big band number with aggressive drums by Ronnie Verrell. Disc cut loud with big production sound. Great for DJs! Original 4-prong centre intact



Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
RECORD - shiny, strong VG++ (closer to M-) regardless of a few tiny scuffs and hairlines from storage / some faint old residue from the original pressing process / disc cut loud with big production sound / some light natural background surface noises.

SLEEVE - not graded - original Decca factory sleeve has general wear / item from the archive of an important record label who had offices in Milan, hence the archive stickers / pen notation front and back
LABEL - a few dirt marks from storage / original 4-prong centre intact
