Description
TED CURSON & Co.: Ode To Booker Ervin, FINLAND Columbia/EMI orig. 1970 LP. Ultra rare orig. pressing, never seen another copy before. Supposedly one of the rarest European jazz LPs from that era. Players include Ted Curson, Heitanen, Eero Koivistoinen, Sarmanto & Laine. Great jazz-fusion LP, superbly recorded. Disc is ‘as new’, MINT-, original owner told me this was not played more than once. Cover is another matter, it has several issues: big bottom split, 5-6 tears on front + plus message written by Ted Curson saying: ‘To Leif, one of my danish friends that makes it a pleasure to come to denmark, ted curson in person’. Back spine is unsplit, as is upper spine. Back cover is nice enough, no major issues. TRACKS: Ode To Booker Ervin, LSD Takes A Holiday, Airi’s Tune, Montreux, Festival Blue, Typical Ted, The Leopard. GRADINGS
I have ten years of experience of selling vintage vinyl. I aim at selling top quality LPs only. Gradings are on the M/ EX/VG+/VG scale. I will rarely I sell LPs less than VG+, unless of considerable rarity.
- MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else.
- EX is also VERY nice, 2-3 light marks perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.
- VG+, a nice player, but probably has some visual impairments, and some clicks or light noise in places; always see the individual description.
- VG: Rarely put of for sale, an ok copy, but always see the individual description.
PLAYGRADING
There's no guessing about condition from visual look. The visual look of a record is very important, but it only tells part of the truth. Therefore I playgrade and carefully check all my offered LPs.
SHIPPING
I ship in strong, brand new cruciform shipping boxes with padding inside. The boxes are slightly bigger than the normal LP-size, thereby providing good protection of corners and edges. I remove LPs from sleeves, in order to prevent seam-splits on transit. IF YOU HAVE INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS regarding shipping, I will always do my best to coorporate.
The shipping qoutes are for 'regular' LPs. If an LP is extra heavy and cannot be shipped at the normal rate I have made the note 'Heavy LP, ships at the price of 2'.
