** Original 1971 UK A1/B1 red POLYDOR label FIRST PRESSING of classic TASTE LP featuring RORY GALLAGHER in superb condition throughout **

An Excellent condition disc. Lustrous, shiny vinyl. Hardly any marks visible at all. Even under a strong light there are just one or two very hard-to-see hairline marks from where the record has been taken out of the sleeve over the years. Certainly nothing that causes any audible issues. No visible spindle marks/wear. Original STEREO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, warps, sticking, scratches, scuffs, or writing on labels. Both labels in very clean condition. Excellent sound quality throughout, with very little surface noise. A very listenable LP. Tested on a Thorens turntable.

Sleeve is laminated on both sides and "printed and made by the E.J.Day Group". Hardly any wear or creasing - still in very crisp condition. No seam splits anywhere. No writing anywhere. Spine in excellent condition, with all text still clearly legible. There is a very difficult to see pin hole at the top of the sleeve (just above "S" in "TASTE", where the sleeve has been attached to a wall with a drawing pin at some point. Hardly noticeable.

Supplied in company plain white inner sleeve with polythene insert and "Plastic bags can be dangerous" text. This is in Excellent condition, with no writing, no seam splits and no creasing, and with retailer's seal still affixed - although the seal has been broken to take the record out.

GRADING:

All records are graded using the 'Record Collector' format:

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
